A good, solid local pub. No this place isn't groundbreaking nor is it exceptional. What it is though is a pub that offers a well rounded, welcoming experience. The staff are friendly and attentive, the decor and furniture comfortable.
Food is home made and decent although not amazing but much better than chain pub's microwaved/steamed offerings. The atmosphere is good and gets fairly loud but not rowdy, lending to a social and friendly vibe.
Overall a good place for either an everyday or social pub visit.
